説明

まで means “until” or “up to.” It marks the end point of time or place. When you say a time + まで, you are saying that something continues until that time. Key points: • Time + まで = until that time • Place + まで = up to that place • Often pairs with から (from) • The end point is included Examples: “五時まで働きます” means “I will work until 5.” “駅まで歩きます” means “I will walk to the station.” When you use から and まで together, you clearly show a range: “九時から五時まで” (from 9 to 5). Note that まで can be used for location or time, so context is important. This grammar point focuses on time, but you will also see it with destinations.
